summer stuff + old stuff (updated)

it has been a super busy and beautiful few months. Done a good number of artwork during this time and i will keep on posting them up as they are sorted and documented. Here are some of them including newly updated *Wart Chronicle* stuff. The last one is a proposed concept for "Monster Hunter" wifi hall+ restaurant .

Monkey King Vis Dev

I loved monkey king very much growing up and he is the first character I ever learned to draw. Here is some of my recent work on Monkey King. As much as I love the grown up demonic version of him, this time I really want to create something cuter and more unique. I started sketching and doing some sketches & variations couple of weeks ago. Here is a sneak peak and hope you like it. =]

Its been a weird and cold couple weeks. Lots of people caught cold and stuff. Luckily I have been indoor majority of this time drawing and painting. Here is a couple of updates of what I have been up to lately.

Greetings. It's been a while since i last posted anything. Here are some stuff I have been working on. Top three are from project called "Wart Chronicle". A story based on "Once and Future King." For those who are familiar with the story. top - Wart. Second to top- Lancelot. Rest are for "metalaire" and last two items are rough sketches of one of the scenes. Finals and details updates are on their ways. And big thank to Imagine FX here for show casing me in their magazine. Happy new years everybody. =]

CDA and Samurai Champloo

Besides freelancing, I have been taking a class with the famous chainsaw art master Carlo Arellano. And it has truly been a previlage to learn from him. Here is a few rough sketches I did in his class. Also a shout out to folks at Triad Toys. They really did a fantastic job on "Samurai Champloo". And I am very glad that I could'v been a part of it. =] Here is the prototype, and these bad ass 12 '' figures with real metal weapons are launching this X'mas.

It has been a long time since i last posted anything. How is everyone doing? Been working like a mad man for the past few months. Its been 3 days since my last project wrapped so I finally have some free time for myself to relax and work on some person stuff. Its been a fun summer, and hoping for a beautiful fall. =]

Stone jungle sketch

This one i sorta just started attacking a white canvas and decided to do something moody and simple in graphic. after couple hrs i ended up with this guy. It was alot of fun during the painting imagining these things being built and how they function; Who would live there, how they transport things, how these structures act as defense mechanisms, etc. =]
