Haven't Posted in a while. Happy new year! I was very fortunate to take a character design class at Artcenter last fall with two of my favorite artists, Neville Page and Chris Ayer. It was a lot of of fun being in their presence, listening to their incredible lectures. Two professors have different style and approach, but equally inspiring and informative. Here are couple pieces that came out from that class. Last one is a more stylized take on the subject. Cheers.

Its been a while since I last updated, hope everyone is doing great. Weathers been a little strange lately, many of my friends and myself have caught a lil cold. So don't forget to take your daily vitamins. I had a chance to work on some vehicle designs for the *Metalaire* project, it was a lot of fun and also very educational. On the right side is the themed alternative presentation inspired by 1920 -1930s race scene. And on the very top is the newest illustration of the project. A darker and more intense take on story. I will post some of the character designs of it when they are sorted. Hope you like them. =]

Been pretty super busy this couple of months. Done a good number of artwork during this time and i will keep posting them up as they are sorted and documented. Here are some of them.
Below is a proposed concept of "Monster Hunter" wifi hall+ restaurant . Since our psp can not go online anywhere here in the states, a wifi hunters hall would be a nice place to go for our monster hunter enthusiasts.

Monkey King Vis Dev

I loved monkey king very much growing up and he is the first character I ever learned to draw. Here is some of my recent work on Monkey King. As much as I love the grown up demonic version of him, this time I really want to create something cuter and more unique. I started sketching and doing some sketches & variations couple of weeks ago. CDA and Samurai Champloo

Besides freelancing, I have been taking a class with chainsaw Carlo Arellano. He is truly a very inspirational teacher.
Also a shout out to folks at Triad Toys. They really did a fantastic job on "Samurai Champloo". It is my honor to be a part of it. Here are a few snap shots of the prototypes, and these bad ass 12 '' figures with real metal weapons are launching spetember 09.

It has been a long time since i last posted anything. How is everyone doing? I was busy at work the past few months. Now I finally have some free time for myself to relax and work on some person stuff. Its been a fun and busy summer, hope the same for fall.

Stone jungle sketch

This one i sorta just started attacking a white canvas and decided to do something moody and simple in graphic. after couple hrs i ended up with this guy. It was alot of fun during the painting imagining these things being built and how they function; Who would live there, how they transport things, how these structures act as defense mechanisms, etc. =]
